You will receive actionable strategies, a sample syllabus, and related assignment practice materials. Dr. Jing Yang

Associate Professor

Loyola University Chicago

Dr. Jing Yang (Ph.D., Michigan State University) is an associate professor in the School of Communication at Loyola University Chicago. Her research focuses on communication technologies (e.g., social media, programmatic targeting, live-streaming, virtual influencers, generative AI) and their impact on advertising effectiveness, consumer well-being, and brand perception. Her works have been published in the Journal of Advertising, Journal of Interactive Marketing, Journal of Research in Interactive Marketing, and Journal of Interactive Advertising, among many others. Dr. Yang was awarded the AAA Best Conference Paper 2021, Research Fellowship 2021, and the Best Article Awards of the Journal of Current Issues and Research in Advertising 2022 and the Journal of Advertising Education 2024. She developed a course “AI in Advertising” in 2019 and has also run AI advertising certificate programs at her home institution.
