About the Author
Ralf Mehnert-Meland, JD
Ralf Mehnert‑Meland brings a blend of legal, business, and international experience to the “Business Law” courseware. He holds a Juris Doctor from George Washington University, a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and International Business from Carthage College, and professional training as a banker in Germany.
A licensed attorney, Ralf has held executive and management roles in the United States and Germany, working across various industries, including ERP, cloud technology, agriculture, and healthcare. He has also authored three books on the European currency system and the European Central Bank.
Ralf is currently an associate professor at Minnesota State University Moorhead, where he teaches business law, ethics, and personal finance. His teaching philosophy is simple: keep it real, keep it practical, and make it relevant for students.
