Elaine Winship is the co-author of Business Communication: Through College & Career and the subject matter co-consultant on the Stukent Simternship—Business Communication. Elaine is an Associate Professor of Communications at St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill, NY, where she researches and teaches various courses in communication, social media marketing, business, and public relations. She has been awarded Professor of the Year, Advisor of the Year, and the inaugural Faculty Service Award (for exemplary service to the community), and many of her public relations events have earned Event of the Year awards.

Before transitioning to academia, Elaine spent fourteen years in the telecommunications industry, managing and directing sales and training, and development teams for Verizon Wireless. Her hobbies include antiquing, reading, writing, traveling, learning new languages, and spending time with her husband and co-author, Thomas.

Thomas Winship is the co-author of Business Communication: Through College & Career and the subject matter co-consultant on Stukent Simternship—Business Communication. He is a Business professor within the State University of New York (SUNY) system, where he researches and teaches management and communications. He is Chair of the Accounting Program and Faculty Advisor to the Alpha Beta Gamma National Honor Society for Business and Professional Majors. Previously, he served as MBA Director for St. Thomas Aquinas College.

Before transitioning to academia, Tom spent twenty years in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, first within operations and then within training and development activities for human resources. His hobbies include reading, writing vampire novels, traveling, and spending time with his wife and co-author, Elaine.
